The Humble Giver
Strong in Mark: passing something on to others
Growing in Talents: trusting what I have learned and can do

You have knit a blanket for every new baby in the family, and you would still say you are not much good with your hands. Your love shows in what you make, steadily and well.
You will recognize this
You hand over the pie at the door and leave before anyone can fuss. Someone admires the quilt, and you point out the mistakes. Someone asks you to show them how, and you say they would do it better. It happens every time someone tries to say something kind.
You show up: the casserole on the step, the ride to the clinic, the neighbor's dog walked when the neighbor could not. You give without keeping a ledger, and people trust you for it. Much of what lasts in a family travels this way, unnamed, already working.
This season
Your giving had a rhythm: birthdays, church or synagogue suppers, new babies. Now the babies are grown, and someone may ask you to teach them how. That is the moment humble people freeze. This season asks you to admit, gently, that you are good enough to teach.
