Strong in Ease: being at home in my body and my days
Growing in Release: letting go of what I cannot control

Your body lies down at ten and sleeps. Your mind stays up, walking from window to window, checking the locks one more time. If you smiled at that, this page is about you. Your body is a good place to live, strong and ready, with energy to spare.
You will recognize this
Mornings go well. The trouble starts after supper, when nothing is left to do but think: the afternoon's conversation, replayed; tomorrow, walked through twice. You are tired and still cannot quite sit down, as if sitting were a permission no one has given you. Consider this page the permission.
Somebody prints the tickets, checks the weather and keeps a second route in their pocket in case the first one floods. Usually, that somebody is you. You became the one who sees trouble coming, and you were good at it. You still are.
This season
For decades the watch had a job: a business to run, children to get home safely, a household that needed someone looking ahead. The job ended. The watch did not retire with it. These may be the first years of your life when nobody needs you on watch. If you are caring for someone right now, your watch is real work; let one small piece of it be shared.
