Strong in Release: letting go of what I cannot control
Growing in Ahead: leaning toward what comes next

Your favorite chair by the window is a good chair, and it has faced the same bird feeder every morning for eleven years. You can probably name the birds. You know how to be content, a rare and quiet skill.
You will recognize this
The morning has the coffee and the feeder, and it is lovely. A friend suggests something new, and you say you are happy as you are, and you mean it. On the calendar, nothing is circled. A good life. Very little on the horizon.
You stopped fighting what cannot be changed, stopped keeping accounts, and came to a settled, honest peace. It was hard won. The coffee is good, the days are your own, and nothing needs fixing. That is the best footing there is for whatever might come next.
This season
Something was always coming: the next job, the next child, the next move. Then it all arrived, and you settled in, and the coming stopped. That stillness is good. This season asks one gentle question: is there one thing you would still enjoy looking forward to?
